What you will do

• Architect and lead the development of an internal AI evaluation platform to automate validation and testing.
• Design reliable, scalable infrastructure to support complex AI agent simulations and multi-stage orchestrations.
• Collaborate with product squads to provide technical leadership on agent design, failure analysis, and prompting best practices.
• Define engineering metrics for AI performance and translate non-deterministic model behavior into measurable system outcomes.
• Mentor engineering team members on system design for LLM-integrated products.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI systems, from initial architectural design to production monitoring and feedback loops.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
• Deep experience in building and scaling production systems.
• Proven background working with AI systems, specifically LLMs, agents, or evaluation workflows.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-scale services.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Ability to bridge the gap between traditional backend software engineering and non-deterministic AI systems.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer tooling or internal platforms.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies like Kafka or Pub/Sub.
• Background in applied ML or research-oriented AI development.
