Location: Hybrid (must be based in or able to work from London, Amsterdam, or Erlangen 2-3 days per week)

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Sales Engineering team supporting equipment-only and turnkey projects across EMEA.
  • Drive the technical strategy throughout the sales cycle to ensure proposals meet customer and commercial requirements.
  • Manage technical aspects of contract negotiations, including performance guarantees, scope, and project schedules.
  • Collaborate with Product, Project Execution, and Supply Chain teams to ensure solutions are executable and optimized.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to inhirify.global product roadmaps and sales enablement tooling.
  • Oversee the development of technical proposals, configuration, and grid compliance considerations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred).
  • 7–12 years of experience in the energy industry, with 3–5 years focused on energy storage, solar, or power generation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a commercial environment.
  • Deep understanding of energy storage system design, grid interconnection, and regulatory standards.
  • Success in leading technical components of large-scale contract negotiations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
