What you will do
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Sales Engineering team supporting equipment-only and turnkey projects across EMEA.
- Drive the technical strategy throughout the sales cycle to ensure proposals meet customer and commercial requirements.
- Manage technical aspects of contract negotiations, including performance guarantees, scope, and project schedules.
- Collaborate with Product, Project Execution, and Supply Chain teams to ensure solutions are executable and optimized.
- Represent the voice of the customer to in product roadmaps and sales enablement tooling.
- Oversee the development of technical proposals, configuration, and grid compliance considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred).
- 7–12 years of experience in the energy industry, with 3–5 years focused on energy storage, solar, or power generation.
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a commercial environment.
- Deep understanding of energy storage system design, grid interconnection, and regulatory standards.
- Success in leading technical components of large-scale contract negotiations.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
