What you will do

• Own the technical vision and platform roadmap for the data domain, balancing innovation with reliability and cost.
• Build and mature the organizational structure, team boundaries, and hiring plans to support rapid company growth.
• Drive operational excellence, including data quality standards, observability, and incident response.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact across product, commercial, intelligence, and finance teams.
• Manage competing demands and communicate trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineering managers and foster technical leadership at all levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a multi-team engineering organization with accountability for delivery and team growth.
• Direct experience owning data infrastructure within a product-focused company.
• Track record of building organizational structures, capabilities, or delivery practices from scratch.
• Strong background collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as product, analytics, and business.
• Ability to balance high-level architectural decision-making with hands-on leadership through others.

• Genuine interest in the crypto ecosystem.
• Experience scaling engineering cohorts from mid-size (~20) to larger organizations.
• Broad expertise spanning data engineering, BI enablement, and product.
