What you will do

• Develop and maintain the control plane and runtime orchestrator (flyd) for Fly Machines.
• Ensure platform resilience by designing systems to withstand hardware and network failures.
• Manage complex workload rebalancing and migration across a large-scale hardware fleet.
• Utilize log, metric, and oTel telemetry to predict, diagnose, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new storage stacks and durable filesystem features.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Go (Golang) for systems development.
• Ability to thrive in a codebase that relies heavily on AI-assisted development tools.
