What you will do

• Manage compliance workflows including GDPR-related tasks like DPAs and TIAs.
• Maintain and update internal legal documentation, AI system inventories, and safety risk assessments.
• Conduct product and feature reviews to ensure alignment with consumer rights and data protection laws.
• Handle day-to-day compliance issues such as IP matters, NDAs, and content policy updates.
• Research and analyze global legal developments applicable to AI and e-commerce platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the Ethics and Compliance Officer on policy recommendations and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Legal degree (Masters of Law or Juris Doctor) required.
• 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience working with contracts and data protection laws.
• Perfectly fluent in English required.
• Ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, plain English.
• Must be 100% comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored NSFW AI-generated content.

Nice to have

• Full certification as an attorney or legal counsel.
• Prior experience in AI compliance.
• Fluency in additional languages.
