TL;DR

Compliance Specialist (AI): Managing legal and compliance-related workflows at a fast-growing AI companionship platform with an accent on data protection, AI governance, and consumer rights. Focus on designing risk assessments, handling contract reviews, and ensuring global regulatory compliance alongside the Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Location: Remote (Global), with an initial regional focus on Chile.

What you will do

  • Own legal and compliance workflows including GDPR assessments (DPAs, TIAs).
  • Maintain internal documentation for AI systems inventory and safety law risk assessments.
  • Manage daily compliance tasks such as IP issues, NDAs, and license reviews.
  • Update legal terms including Terms of Service, Privacy Notices, and content policies.
  • Research and analyze relevant legal developments in AI and e-commerce.
  • Collaborate with the Ethics and Compliance Officer on research and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Legal degree (Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or equivalent).
  • 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in a similar compliance role.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with contracts and data protection law (GDPR).
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into plain English.
  • Must be 100% comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated and NSFW material.
  • Perfectly fluent in English.

Nice to have

  • Full certification as an attorney or legal counsel.
  • Prior experience in AI compliance.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
