What you will do

• Manage legal and compliance workflows including contracts and data protection assessments (GDPR).
• Maintain core compliance documentation, including AI systems inventories and safety risk assessments.
• Conduct product and feature reviews to ensure alignment with consumer rights and data privacy laws.
• Handle day-to-day legal tasks such as IP/DMCA notices, NDA reviews, and updating Terms of Service.
• Collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance Officer to develop research-backed recommendations.
• Note: You must be comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated and NSFW content.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil
• English: C1+ required
• Legal education (Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or equivalent).
• 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in a similar compliance-focused role.
• At least 2 years of proven experience with contracts and data protection law (e.g., DPAs, TIAs).
• Ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, plain English.

Nice to have

• Full certification as an attorney or legal counsel.
• Previous professional experience in AI compliance.
• Fluency in additional languages.
