What you will do

• Develop and enhance web applications for a mission-critical trading platform.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Migrate functionality from legacy WPF desktop applications to modern Angular web interfaces.
• Contribute to the transition from monolithic architecture toward microservices.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver new features using AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Spain, Poland, Georgia, or Cyprus.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and backend service architecture.
• Commercial experience with Angular and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Experience with SQL, distributed systems, and messaging-based architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and middleware development.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, or similar distributed technologies.
• Experience with Oracle or PL/SQL environments.
• Background in financial systems or electronic trading platforms.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
