Location: Must be based within a 50-mile commute of the New York office (Hybrid, 4 days/week in-office)

Salary: $158,400 – $258,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services in C#/.NET on Azure (AKS, Functions, Cosmos DB, SQL).
• Lead a large-scale infrastructure migration from legacy VMs to Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain full-stack features using GraphQL APIs and TypeScript frontends.
• Manage production health, incident response, and observability for critical high-traffic services.
• Integrate AI-powered tools into the software development lifecycle to improve efficiency and code quality.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure scalable architecture and robust system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with C#/.NET and Azure cloud services (AKS, Functions, Cosmos DB, SQL).
• Familiarity with production-grade live-site engineering, observability, and incident management.
• Ability to work from the office 4 days per week in New York.
• Commitment to responsible AI practices and SDLC engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Background in Java or AWS ecosystems.
• Master's degree in a technical field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
