What you will do

• Evangelize SRE and Data Reliability engineering practices across all technical teams.
• Build and maintain a market-leading framework for data quality, observability, and lineage.
• Command incidents, conduct post-mortems, and ensure follow-up actions are executed.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (one week every 4–5 weeks).
• Collaborate with product and sales to define and report on SLOs and SLAs for enterprise clients.
• Embed reliability practices directly into engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leveling up the quality and reliability of large datasets and high-volume SaaS products.
• Strong background supporting distributed systems hosted on AWS.
• Presence and empathy required to hold teams accountable and foster a blame-free culture.
• Experience defining and managing SLOs/SLAs, both internally and for external clients.
• Capability to communicate technical post-mortems effectively to enterprise-level financial stakeholders.
• Must be located in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model in London.

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and its operational challenges.
