TL;DR
Senior Smart Contract Engineer (EVM): Developing and maintaining critical smart contracts for EVM-based DeFi protocols with an accent on high-throughput decentralized infrastructure and low-level EVM optimization. Focus on building robust monitoring systems, mentoring the team on EVM best practices, and ensuring protocol security through rigorous production standards.
Location: Must be based in the office in New York City
Salary: $170K – $250K

What you will do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance EVM smart contracts for production environments.
- Build and implement monitoring systems to ensure the reliability and security of protocol infrastructure.
- Act as the in-house technical lead and mentor for EVM-related development.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure code quality and system integrity.
- Drive the development of scalable financial primitives on decentralized infrastructure.
Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in the New York City office.
- Extensive experience in building, deploying, and maintaining EVM smart contracts in production.
- Deep understanding of Ethereum and low-level EVM concepts.
- Proven track record of working with auditors and managing complex security requirements.
- Experience in DeFi or quantitative trading environments.
- Proficiency in Rust or other statically typed languages.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
- Deep expertise in market microstructure and automated market making (AMM).
