Data Scientist (Data Science/ML)

TL;DR

Data Scientist (Data Science/ML): Responsible for ensuring users see the right information at the right time, leveraging data and app functionality to provide insights and offers. Focus on designing ranking methodologies and developing ML models to power sophisticated signal design and ranking.

Location: Must be in-office a minimum of 2-3 days per week in London, England, United Kingdom

Salary: £54,000 to £64,000

What you will do

• Conduct analytical projects to understand the effectiveness of existing Signals and evaluate eligibility of proposed changes or additions.
• Propose improvements to existing or entirely new Signals to maximize the value data brings to the user experience.
• Help design the ranking methodology that will decide which Signals, when and where, to show to each user.
• Develop ML models to power sophisticated Signal design and ranking.

Requirements

• Excellent SQL and Excel skills.
• Good experience with data modelling and relational database structure and design.
• Good experience of one or more of R, Python, SAS or equivalent.
• Awareness, or ideally, some experience, with ML processes, algorithms & techniques.
• Excellent quantitative and numerical skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload and good collaboration & communication skills.
