Senior Product Manager (Cash+Coaching)

Senior Product Manager (Cash+Coaching): Leading the design, development, and scaling of lean, digitally-enabled coaching interventions for poverty alleviation programs with an accent on behavioral science and digital product delivery. Focus on building scalable tools like AI-driven chatbots and video-based content that layer onto large-scale cash transfers to enhance recipient impact.

Location: Must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours; fully remote position.

Compensation: $115,500 base salary plus bonus and benefits, total target approximately $126,500+ (USD).

What you will do

• Own the vision and roadmap for Cash + Coaching initiatives across content and delivery channels.
• Design and pilot digitally-enabled coaching tools, including AI-based chatbots and edutainment content.
• Lead collaborations with country Programs teams to integrate coaching into operational contexts.
• Manage strategic partnerships with external tech vendors, research organizations, and edutainment firms.
• Translate complex behavioral science theories into practical, low-literacy, and scalable delivery protocols.
• Oversee rapid experiments to generate high-quality evidence on intervention effectiveness.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in economic inclusion, graduation, or cash-plus programs.
• Direct experience building or scaling digital coaching products or platforms.
• English language proficiency required (French is preferred).
• Strong project management skills managing internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to thrive in iterative, fast-paced environments.
• Must be able to travel to African countries of operation 1-2 times per quarter.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-enabled tools, IVR, or WhatsApp-based delivery systems.
• Experience co-developing products with governments or multilateral partners.
