What you will do

• Own and develop core backend services and infrastructure for the observability platform.
• Design and implement scalable systems capable of processing and querying petabytes of telemetry data.
• Collaborate with the open-source community to solve complex challenges and gather feedback.
• Architect reliable, high-throughput data pipelines and APIs.
• Engage in continuous improvement of developer tooling and platform performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Passion for open source and building impactful developer tools.
• Occasional ability to contribute to Go-based services is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global, PostgreSQL, or other analytical databases.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, logging pipelines, or metrics infrastructure.
• Knowledge of message queues or event-driven architectures like Kafka or NATS.
