TL;DR

Strategic Business Development Manager (B2B2C): Responsible for generating new sales in the B2B leisure travel market with an accent on defining go-to-market strategies and managing complex, long-cycle negotiations. Focus on building high-value partnerships with OTAs and travel operators to scale rail distribution volumes across Europe.

Location: Must be able to work from the London office at least 60% of the time

Salary: £40K – £55K

What you will do

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for the B2B leisure travel market.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify outbound and inbound leads to build a strong pipeline.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including negotiation and commercial deal closing.
  • Coordinate with product and integration teams to ensure successful onboarding of new partners.
  • Participate in major European travel industry events and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-departmental projects.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English required
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or B2B sales cycles.
  • Strong commercial awareness and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive and take ownership in a complex and ambiguous environment.
  • Effective communication and project management capabilities.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to London for a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the travel or rail distribution industry.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
