What you will do

• Collaborate on the development and execution of global IP strategies for proprietary formulations and treatment protocols.
• Manage the end-to-end preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications worldwide.
• Conduct rigorous validity, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses to support R&D and commercialization.
• Partner with scientific, legal, and commercial teams to identify innovations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee external patent counsel to ensure high-quality and cost-effective legal outcomes.
• Monitor the competitive patent landscape and support IP-related due diligence for business development.

Requirements

• Qualified US Patent Attorney registered to practice before the USPTO.
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in chemistry, pharmacology, or biochemistry.
• 5+ years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and portfolio management.
• Strong expertise in small molecule chemistry and the drug development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to translate complex scientific and legal concepts for cross-functional business stakeholders.
• Must have legal employment rights in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided).
