What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across endpoints, identity systems, SaaS applications, and internal networks.
- Evolve identity and access management strategies including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and lifecycle automation.
- Build automation for access control management using APIs, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Improve endpoint security posture through MDM, EDR, and patch management.
- Drive vulnerability management and support compliance efforts such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Conduct security reviews of new SaaS tools and respond to identity-related security signals.
Requirements
- 3β7+ years of experience in security engineering or corporate IT security.
- Must be based in the U.S. or Canada.
- Strong proficiency with identity platforms like Okta or Azure AD.
- Deep understanding of authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Proven ability to build automation using Python, Bash, or Terraform.
- Experience managing RBAC and enforcing least privilege in SaaS environments.
Nice to have
- Experience designing zero trust architectures.
- Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
- Understanding of SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
- Background in high-growth or startup environments.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
