What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across endpoints, identity systems, SaaS applications, and internal networks.
• Evolve identity and access management strategies including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and lifecycle automation.
• Build automation for access control management using APIs, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Improve endpoint security posture through MDM, EDR, and patch management.
• Drive vulnerability management and support compliance efforts such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Conduct security reviews of new SaaS tools and respond to identity-related security signals.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in security engineering or corporate IT security.
• Must be based in the U.S. or Canada.
• Strong proficiency with identity platforms like Okta or Azure AD.
• Deep understanding of authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Proven ability to build automation using Python, Bash, or Terraform.
• Experience managing RBAC and enforcing least privilege in SaaS environments.

Nice to have

• Experience designing zero trust architectures.
• Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
• Understanding of SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
• Background in high-growth or startup environments.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
