What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive security controls and policies within AWS environments.
- Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend actionable mitigation strategies.
- Lead the integration of security practices into the DevOps and CI/CD lifecycle.
- Optimize AWS security tools (IAM, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty) and automate security tasks using IaC.
- Conduct and remediate findings from penetration tests and security audits.
- Mentor junior team members and promote security awareness across the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security in AWS.
- Deep expertise in AWS architecture and core security services.
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, or Go for security automation.
- Solid understanding of containerization, microservices security, and network encryption.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Advanced degrees in Computer Science or Information Security.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
