What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive security controls and policies within AWS environments.
• Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend actionable mitigation strategies.
• Lead the integration of security practices into the DevOps and CI/CD lifecycle.
• Optimize AWS security tools (IAM, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty) and automate security tasks using IaC.
• Conduct and remediate findings from penetration tests and security audits.
• Mentor junior team members and promote security awareness across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security in AWS.
• Deep expertise in AWS architecture and core security services.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, or Go for security automation.
• Solid understanding of containerization, microservices security, and network encryption.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Advanced degrees in Computer Science or Information Security.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
