What you will do

• Architect and deploy intelligent, multi-step agent workflows that combine real-time guidance, retrieval, and automated actions.
• Design and optimize LLM-powered systems including RAG pipelines and domain-adapted models.
• Develop evaluation strategies such as offline benchmarking and LLM-as-a-judge methodologies for non-deterministic systems.
• Diagnose and mitigate failure modes including hallucinations, context drift, and retrieval errors.
• Define and track critical quality metrics such as accuracy, faithfulness, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into the core platform and mentor fellow engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada
• 5–8+ years of industry experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production, including significant LLM experience.
• Strong expertise in NLP, Generative AI, transformer architectures, and embedding systems.
• Proven experience designing and deploying RAG systems in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and distributed cloud infrastructure.
• Strong technical leadership skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional decisions.
