What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain new product features for the Stock Keeper service using Golang.
• Optimize database structures and query performance using Google Spanner.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and manage infrastructure as code.
• Ensure system high availability, reliability, and performance monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership, estimate work, and mentor a small team of 3-5 developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain service health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience, including 5+ years with Golang.
• Expertise in SQL, database optimization, and RESTful API design.
• Proven experience running high-load and high-uptime production services.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native development.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the office in Kraków, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures like Pub/Sub.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and GCP services.
• Experience with React for frontend tasks.
• Familiarity with DataDog for API monitoring.
