Location: Must be located in Seattle, WA or willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.
Salary: $212,800 to $329,800 USD. The range for this role in Seattle, WA is $234,000 to $362,800 USD.

What you will do
- Establish and manage a streamlined hub for GPA’s health R&D policy, data, and evidence insights.
- Develop practical tools, knowledge-management assets, and collaborative processes that translate strategy and analytics into implementation and advocacy results.
- Develop and maintain a centralized view of the Foundation’s health R&D pipeline suitable to translation into advocacy and co-financing strategies.
- Leverage tools and evidence to help institutionalize joint planning and execution processes across teams supporting global health R&D advocacy.
- Support the operationalization of uniform M&E in partnership with GPA’s central M&E function.
Requirements
- Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking with an ability to combine substantive strategy work with hands-on research and evidence translation.
- Experience with R&D pipelines, financing mechanisms, and portfolio-level analytics—ideally in pharma, global health, or adjacent innovation ecosystems.
- Experience designing, commissioning, or managing outcomes and impact research related to health R&D.
- Deep familiarity with global health R&D and innovation systems relevant to low- and lower-middle-income country needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to synthesize complex evidence for diverse audiences.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization in the country where this position is located. The Foundation does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
Nice to have
- Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, medical technology, or innovation ecosystems relevant to commercialization and scale.
- Hands-on experience implementing or commissioning AI/data tools in analytical or portfolio contexts.
- Advanced degree in public health, health policy, economics, or related field.
