TL;DR
Director, Account Management (SaaS): Leading and scaling the Account Management team, focusing on customer retention, expansion, and overall account health across a portfolio of high-value customers with an accent on building a high-performing team and refining the post-sales strategy. Focus on partnering cross-functionally to deliver a best-in-class customer experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Location: Hybrid (Chicago, IL). Must come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Salary: $250K – $310K On Target Earnings (70/30)

What you will do
- Help develop the future structure of the Existing Business team as Account Teams are introduced.
- Lead a high-performing Account Management team by developing and coaching Account Managers.
- Drive customer expansion by coaching AMs to map their account books and identify opportunities.
- Establish AM fundamentals by defining team KPIs, roles and responsibilities, success metrics, and operating rhythms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Take accountability for renewal, expansion, customer satisfaction, and ensuring commercial success across the team.
Requirements
- 4-6 years experience leading Account Management teams in SaaS.
- Proven experience developing and leading AM functions.
- Experience leading a team focused on AM motions, including Enterprise level renewal negotiation, upselling, cross-selling, and handling customer escalations.
- Strong coaching and people leadership skills.
