Salary: $120,000 - $192,000

What you will do

• Create a comprehensive test plan addressing functional, system, scalability, performance, longevity, and churn aspects.
• Craft test cases, automate them, maintain integration in CI/CD, identify defects, report issues, and launch features within tight deadlines.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust tests using Python in Pytest.
• Coordinate with the test team and across development, product management, SRE, and systems engineers.
• Design complex distributed architectures and influence peer groups to adopt them.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in software testing, coding, defects, code review, and automation.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of strong background in networking, security, or cloud-based technologies.
• Minimum 6 years of strong programming skills in Python, YAML, and Bash.
• Minimum 4 years of Virtualization experience in Installation, Configuration & Administration is required.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in firewall and security services, as well as in the networking TCP/IP stack, L2/L3, and WAN.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 8+ years of related experience or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 6+ years of related experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Traffic simulator tools like Ixia Cyperf, TRex, and Iperf.
• Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, or cloud platforms like VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
