What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Python.
• Implement and maintain API test automation for high-volume RESTful services.
• Utilize Playwright and TypeScript for complex UI automation workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback.
• Collaborate with software engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps to define test strategies and quality standards.
• Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and optimize test coverage and system stability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of experience in test automation or SDET roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python for framework development.
• Hands-on experience with API test automation and UI automation using Playwright.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Solid experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience testing high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
• Familiarity with containerized test execution using Docker.
• Exposure to cloud-based platforms and distributed systems.
