What you will do
- Deliver against individual revenue targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract finalization.
- Manage bid and tender pipelines, engaging early with stakeholders to shape requirements.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with procurement leads.
- Analyze sector trends and competitor positioning to inform GTM strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
- Experience in leading or managing a sales team.
- Prior exposure to bids, tenders, frameworks, or public sector procurement.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model from the Manchester office.
- Full, clean UK driving licence with flexibility for nationwide travel.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or B2B software environments.
- Knowledge of education, training, or apprenticeship sectors.
- Familiarity with procurement frameworks and funding environments.
