What you will do

• Design and maintain backend APIs integrating blockchain transactions with traditional payment systems.
• Integrate on-chain wallet services, including transaction signing and state reconciliation.
• Build secure and scalable on-chain payment flows.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to execute technical vision for loyalty platforms.
• Uphold engineering best practices regarding security, testing, and system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion a culture of growth and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building backend APIs.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or a statically typed JVM language.
• Working knowledge of Solidity and EVM-based ecosystems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and domain-driven design in distributed systems.
• Understanding of blockchain architectures, smart contract interactions, and wallet authentication.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and asynchronous event-driven architectures.
• Background in the U.S. payments ecosystem (debit, credit, ACH).
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and key management.
• Experience with embedded wallet SDKs or identity systems.
