What you will do

• Own end-to-end ML subsystems from data preparation and training to production deployment.
• Design and ship practical ML solutions that address non-deterministic model behaviors.
• Debug and resolve production model failures using real-world signals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research and product teams to integrate ML features.
• Mentor peer engineers and establish high technical standards for ML development.
• Balance rapid iteration with constraints like latency, cost, and reliability.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in Palo Alto, California (Hybrid)
• Strong experience shipping ML systems used by real users in production environments.
• Deep understanding of modern ML model behavior and failure modes.
• Ability to write production-quality, maintainable code rather than scripts.
• Expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience with GPU-based training and inference systems.
