What you will do

  • Define long-term architecture for AI systems, infrastructure, and developer platforms.
  • Guide technical decisions regarding model integration, data pipelines, and product architecture.
  • Build and scale a global engineering organization across talent hubs in the US and China.
  • Establish engineering culture, hiring standards, and development practices.
  • Align engineering workstreams with product and research goals.
  • Resolve complex cross-team technical execution challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in system architecture, large-scale systems, and distributed architecture.
  • Proven experience building or leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Ability to reason clearly about complex systems and make pragmatic technical trade-offs.
  • Comfortable operating in early-stage environments with high ambiguity.
  • Strong judgment on engineering priorities and technical direction.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to align diverse teams.
