Location: Remote from any European country (including the UK) or hybrid/onsite in Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, or the UK. Relocation assistance available to Italy or the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Lead and expand the digital design team, covering RTL development, integration, and methodology.
• Drive the transformation of architecture specs into high-quality RTL implementations for SoCs.
• Manage end-to-end logical design execution through the full tape-out cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, verification, physical design, and software.
• Define RTL quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for design reviews.
• Mentor engineering talent and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in digital/logical design for complex SoCs with multiple successful tape-outs.
• Proven background in leading and growing high-performing silicon design teams.
• Deep expertise in SystemVerilog/Verilog and micro-architecture development.
• Experience with large-scale SoC integration involving CPUs, accelerators, and interconnects.
• Strong understanding of performance, power, and area trade-offs at advanced process nodes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge strategic leadership and hands-on technical work.

Nice to have

• Background in AI/ML accelerators, GPUs, or NPUs.
• Familiarity with industry-standard NoC and AXI architectures.
• Experience with silicon bring-up, post-silicon debug, and root-cause analysis.
• Proven success in fast-scaling startup environments.
