What you will do
- Collaborate with hardware and data science teams to develop software for automated data collection.
- Design and maintain robust hardware-software interfaces for device communication.
- Create and manage cloud data infrastructure and databases.
- Improve data security protocols and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Support regulatory affairs by ensuring product compliance with IEC 62304 standards.
- Partner with the product team to validate functional requirements.
Requirements
- MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent engineering field.
- 3+ years of relevant software development experience in industrial or hardware-adjacent environments.
- Proficiency in Python and at least two other languages such as Rust, Go, or C#.
- Experience with full-stack development including REST API, gRPC, PostgreSQL, and Svelte or React.
- Solid knowledge of Linux, server infrastructure, and Docker.
- Experience with low-level communication protocols like UART, SPI, I²C, USB, and GPIO.
Nice to have
- Experience interfacing with hardware such as fluidic handling elements, lasers, or ESP32 microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with medical device software standards like IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1.
