Senior IT Support Engineer

Senior IT Support Engineer (IT & Security): Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues with an accent on device lifecycle management and user access provisioning. Focus on supporting a diverse, high-growth AI team, maintaining office infrastructure in Eindhoven, and contributing to ongoing security and IT infrastructure projects.

Location: Must be based in or near Eindhoven, Netherlands. Position requires being available for on-site support at the High Tech Campus.

What you will do

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, VPN, and connectivity issues across Windows and MacOS environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Microsoft EntraID.
• Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and asset recovery.
• Handle device lifecycle management utilizing Microsoft InTune and track IT inventory.
• Maintain local office infrastructure, including WiFi, networking, printing, and meeting room technology.
• Document procedures, develop knowledge base articles, and participate in security and IT infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
• Must be based in or near Eindhoven, Netherlands.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in managing Windows and MacOS systems, Microsoft 365, and ticketing systems.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ITIL Foundation frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices in a tech or startup environment.
