What you will do

• Support the development and enhancement of BSA/AML models including transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
• Drive the automation of key compliance processes and workflows using internal tools.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights to improve compliance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for auditors and regulators with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve data flow and compliance tooling.
• Experiment with and deploy AI solutions to enhance compliance productivity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 2–3 years of experience in data analytics or data science
• Advanced SQL proficiency including window functions and query optimization
• Experience with data manipulation tools like Looker, Excel, or Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial services
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Git, or software engineering best practices
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
• Previous experience in financial services, crypto, or startups
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks
