AI Tutor - Hindi (AI)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour. Compensation information for international candidates is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and other auditory data.
• Curate high-quality audio data representing natural speech, linguistic details, intonation, rhythm, accents, and professional recording standards.
• Evaluate speech modulation, accent variation, real-world recording noise, pronunciation, and multilingual audio quality.
• Collaborate with technical staff to develop audio-focused tasks and improve annotation tools and workflows.
• Support training and refinement of Grok's voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual audio capabilities.

Requirements

• Native Hindi proficiency, including exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear and natural vocal delivery suitable for recordings.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify speech, accent, pronunciation, intonation, and audio-quality nuances.
• Ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying recording quality and to make consistent judgments on ambiguous or noisy speech.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• For work on a personal device, use a Chromebook, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice model training.
• Professional voice experience such as voice acting, voice recording, podcasting, or audio production.
• Advanced transcription and annotation experience covering disfluencies, accents, intonation, stress, rhythm, and emotion.
• Portfolio of voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work.
