What you will do

• Design and build backend services that support derivatives trading, including order processing and execution workflows.
• Improve system latency and throughput by analyzing performance bottlenecks and implementing targeted optimizations.
• Maintain and enhance systems that support trading accuracy, including data consistency and risk-related processes.
• Work with product, infrastructure, and security teams to support new contract launches and platform expansion.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, using metrics to guide improvements in stability and data integrity.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments.
• You have experience designing systems that require low latency and high throughput.
• You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, including AWS services.
• You have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
• You have worked on trading systems or other distributed systems where performance and reliability are critical.
• You communicate clearly and approach problems with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• You understand crypto derivatives markets, including perpetual futures and their trading lifecycle.
