What you will do
- Contribute to and own core backend services including webhooks, authentication, and the app marketplace.
- Develop and maintain SDKs in Go, Python, and PHP to streamline integrations for developers.
- Mature API practices by reviewing changes and ensuring consistency across the platform.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components like ECS, SQS, and EventBridge to maintain high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and technical writers.
- Contribute to both internal and external-facing technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering background with Go as your primary language.
- Deep understanding of API design principles and production-grade service stability.
- Must be based in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, or Portugal.
- Proven ability to take ownership of medium-complexity problems independently.
- Experience maintaining stable systems in a high-traffic production environment.
- Ability to work effectively within an event-driven, distributed architecture.
Nice to have
- Experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Background in building or maintaining open-source SDKs and developer tooling.
- Practical experience in exploring and implementing AI solutions to improve development workflows.
