What you will do

• Contribute to and own core backend services including webhooks, authentication, and the app marketplace.
• Develop and maintain SDKs in Go, Python, and PHP to streamline integrations for developers.
• Mature API practices by reviewing changes and ensuring consistency across the platform.
• Manage AWS infrastructure components like ECS, SQS, and EventBridge to maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and technical writers.
• Contribute to both internal and external-facing technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering background with Go as your primary language.
• Deep understanding of API design principles and production-grade service stability.
• Must be based in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, or Portugal.
• Proven ability to take ownership of medium-complexity problems independently.
• Experience maintaining stable systems in a high-traffic production environment.
• Ability to work effectively within an event-driven, distributed architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Background in building or maintaining open-source SDKs and developer tooling.
