Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year.

Salary: $170,765 — $200,900 USD

What you will do

• Own social strategy across platforms including X, Farcaster, and emerging crypto-native networks.
• Oversee the Base social team, support their work and development.
• Create and publish social-first content that communicates Base’s mission, ecosystem activity, and cultural moments.
• Partner with builders, creators, and ecosystem teams to spotlight projects launching on Base.
• Actively participate in crypto-native conversations, responding to trends, engaging with builders and creators.
• Lead social planning for major announcements, campaigns, and events.

Requirements

• 6+ years managing social media or digital content for high-growth technology, crypto, or internet-native brands.
• Experience running teams, building and executing content strategy, and developing talent.
• Deep familiarity with crypto culture, communities, and platforms.
• Ability to craft clear, concise, and culturally relevant posts that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using analytics to evaluate performance, test hypotheses, and inform content strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.

Nice to have

• Experience working with developer ecosystems or crypto communities.
• Experience managing social for a crypto protocol, exchange, or company.
• Background in content production such as short-form video, podcasts, or livestreams.
• Existing relationships with builders, creators, and crypto-native influencers.
