TL;DR
Director, Quantitative Data Products (Fintech): Defining strategy and driving execution of a portfolio of innovative Alternative Data products with an accent on capital markets workflows and investment data. Focus on leading the full product lifecycle, from 0-to-1 concept validation to go-to-market scaling and revenue optimization.
Location: Must be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office.
Salary: $121,000–$170,000

What you will do
- Conduct market research and engage directly with clients to identify and validate new product opportunities.
- Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch, scale, and ongoing optimization.
- Develop and prioritize product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver innovative data products.
- Drive go-to-market strategy, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement to maximize adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management or development within the investment industry.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, data product fundamentals, and trading workflows.
- Proven ability to drive 0-to-1 initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a revenue-focused mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related discipline.
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of the alternative data landscape.
- Practical experience evaluating alternative data in the investment lifecycle (e.g., programming, backtesting, statistics).
- Startup or venture-building experience.
