What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines and automated alerting systems using Python and SQL.
• Measure and monitor business-critical metrics from an AI-driven perspective.
• Own project lifecycles from scoping to deployment and iteration in 1-2 week cycles.
• Present technical strategies and architectural tradeoffs to senior leadership.
• Maintain production systems with a focus on ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, AWS, and database technologies.
• Proven ability to translate complex stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in iterative, rapid-shipping environments (1-2 week cycles).
• Strong resilience to shifting priorities and ambiguous technical requirements.
• Proactive communication skills for a documentation-heavy, transparent environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Go programming language.
• Proficiency in modern Python 3 practices including type hints, Pydantic, and uv.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Airflow, OpenSearch, and CI/CD pipelines.
