What you will do
- Review suspicious emails to identify and analyze social engineering techniques.
- Perform open-source research (OSINT) to determine the nature of threats.
- Classify emails as either malicious or benign.
- Collaborate within the Red Canary R&D team reporting to the Manager of Detection Engineering.
Requirements
- Current Active Duty United States military member or Guard/Reserve component member on active duty orders (180+ days of service and 180 or fewer days remaining prior to discharge).
- Unit commander approval and an approved MOU submitted before start.
- 1+ years in a technical role troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Deep interest in understanding adversary tactics and techniques.
Nice to have
- Prior cybersecurity experience.
- Experience with Google Suite and Slack.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Asana.
