TL;DR

Business Analyst (System Analyst, Banking Domain): Gathering and documenting business requirements for banking products and services with an accent on analyzing current processes and proposing improvements aligned with regulatory and operational goals. Focus on collaborating with development, QA, and product teams to ensure solution alignment and maintaining traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid (Gdańsk, Warsaw, Łódź, Tricity). 2/3 days per week from the office

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements for banking products and services.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to define business needs.
• Analyze current processes and propose improvements aligned with regulatory and operational goals.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Support UAT planning and execution.
• Maintain traceability of requirements and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN modeling.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SWIFT MT/MX formats, ISO 20022, SEPA, and payment systems.
• Experience with Payments Hub, Clearing & Settlement systems.
• Knowledge of PSD2 and other banking regulations.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or SAFe.
