Engineering Manager (Mobile)

What you will do

• Lead and coach a team of mobile engineers to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant applications.
• Manage team performance, professional development, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to shape the mobile roadmap and strategy.
• Maintain high architectural standards, including test coverage and system reliability.
• Drive hiring and onboarding efforts for the mobile engineering function.
• Communicate technical trade-offs and business requirements effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in people management, coaching, and performance review.
• 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience.
• Proficiency with Flutter and/or Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Strong grasp of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, release management, and observability tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Native development experience with Kotlin and Swift.
• Familiarity with PCI compliance and mobile security best practices.
• Experience with app store submission and compliance guidelines.
