TL;DR

Customer Program Manager (AI): Leading and overseeing OEM customer programs for Embodied AI technology with an accent on technical requirement integration, project planning, and stakeholder management. Location: Must be based in or able to work from Sunnyvale or Detroit (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Lead and support cross-functional teams in executing complex automotive customer programs.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project frameworks including risk and change management.
  • Translate customer technical requirements into actionable goals for R&D and Product teams.
  • Ensure efficient reporting and communication channels between the customer and internal departments.
  • Align internal milestone planning with customer delivery schedules.
  • Provide first-level technical support and address client needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Extensive program management experience in complex automotive software development.
  • Robust technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in using program management tools like Jira.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and exceptional communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of current AI advancements including Generative AI, AV 2.0, and LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience in software development.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
