Technical Writer

TL;DR

Location: State College, Pennsylvania. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future. This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.

hirify.global is seeking an Technical Writer / Information Developer to contribute to the strategic vision for our information products, including online Help resources and technical documentation.

What you will do

• Write, edit, proofread, review, and format information products, including online help materials.
• Update and maintain technical documentation for bug fixes and routine updates.
• Provide insight on software development processes and best practices.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, UX Design, Customer Success, and other teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical communications, statistics, or a related field preferred (major coursework in statistics is required for technical or business degrees; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• One to two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
