Location: Must be based in Tysons, Virginia; onsite office attendance required 4 days a week.

What you will do

• Develop full stack software across diverse platforms and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver scalable software solutions.
• Research and apply new technologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Manage the complete project life cycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Contribute actively to product development, moving beyond simple spec execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, with C# as a plus.
• Experience with SQL database schema design, optimization, and query performance analysis.
• Working knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Ember.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies like Kafka.
• Proficiency in developing high-availability, high-throughput services.
