What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services that power real-time ad delivery and decisioning for MSAN.
• Build and maintain APIs and high-throughput pipelines to support OpenRTB integrations and VAST XML generation.
• Enhance system reliability and observability by driving telemetry, monitoring, and resilient distributed service architecture.
• Investigate and optimize production systems through deep-dive analysis, performance tuning, and scaling strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence by driving automated testing, CI/CD, and maintaining high-quality coding practices.
• Own live site operations by participating in on-call rotations and leading root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
• Proficiency in C/C++/C#/Java language.
• Proficient in back-end (API/Server) coding.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management.
• Excellent skills in design, debugging, and problem solving.

Nice to have

• Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana, Jarvis, or Cosmos.
• Experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, real-time systems, knowledge of OpenRTB, auction theory, or bid optimization.
