What you will do

• Evaluate complex transactions and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Tax, Legal, and FP&A teams to assess the accounting implications of new products and strategic business initiatives.
• Translate technical accounting conclusions into practical operational guidance for internal teams.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda and position papers for auditors and management.
• Maintain and enhance the company's technical accounting policies and documentation framework.
• Advise on financial reporting, including footnote disclosures and statement presentation.

Requirements

• Experience assessing and documenting complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Strong background in cross-functional partnership and translating technical policy into operations.
• Ability to research and analyze non-routine, judgmental accounting issues.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
• Requirement for hybrid work: 3 days per week in-office.
