What you will do

• Design, build, and operate robust services powering AI-driven procedure recommendations.
• Integrate knowledge bases with conversational AI agents to support autonomous customer issue resolution.
• Enhance procedure authoring and management tools for product administrators.
• Collaborate with data science and ML teams on model implementation and evaluation.
• Contribute to core architectural decisions and handle technical trade-offs in a fast-moving product environment.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from system design and coding to deployment and production operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Must be able to work from the Lisbon office for at least two days a week.
• Strong expertise in systems design, service boundaries, and data flow architecture.
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails or TypeScript.
• Practical experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience integrating LLMs or building AI-powered product features is highly valued.
