What you will do

• Build and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop actionable visualizations and alerts for monitoring using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch.
• Identify and automate manual, error-prone processes to improve system reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across application and infrastructure layers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps and infrastructure best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Sentry.
• Strong command of Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Commitment to clear, comprehensive documentation and process standardization.
• Must be able to attend in-office days in South San Francisco every Wednesday.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).
• Knowledge of cloud and infrastructure security best practices.
• Experience with production performance tuning.
