What you will do

• Ship features across the full stack using Node, TypeScript, AWS, and Postgres.
• Design and build automated workflows to reduce manual bookkeeping and operational effort.
• Maintain and build integrations with third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to iterate on product initiatives.
• Lead architectural decisions regarding feasibility, scope, and technical tradeoffs.
• Utilize AI development tooling to accelerate coding, testing, and system maintenance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Full-stack proficiency with React and Express.
• Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and building for scale.
• Experience shipping reliable code with high performance and maintainability.
• Fluency in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) in production.
• Must be located in Seattle and available for daily onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI agent orchestration or LLM integration in products.
• Background in FinTech or financial data workflows.
• Track record of configuring AI dev tooling for brownfield codebases.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Datadog or Sentry.
