What you will do

• Build and deploy LLM-powered applications including retrieval systems and AI agents
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to scope automation requirements and define success metrics
• Develop lightweight data pipelines and analytics to support AI impact measurement
• Own projects from initial prototyping through production deployment and monitoring
• Establish standards for responsible AI use, prompt engineering, and evaluation
• Lead internal training sessions on LLM fundamentals and AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or ML engineering
• Hands-on experience building production applications with LLM APIs
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relational databases
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining production systems
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a 0-to-1 environment

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases, retrieval architectures, and embedding models
• Familiarity with agent frameworks or workflow orchestration tools
• Previous entrepreneurial experience
• Background in healthcare, biotech, or other regulated industries
• Experience with traditional ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
